ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

This is the 'shea butter' version of our 2% Pyrithione Zinc Body and Facial Soap.  Shea Butter moisturizes pores without clogging them (e.g. non-comedogenic). It also has a high concentration of linoleic and oleic acids, which provide added conditioning and lathering.

In soap, shea butter does not contribute to lather or hardness (so it's basically a conditioner or moisturizer). Shea Butter contains 4% to 9% unsaponifiables (additional components in the fats and oils that can't be fully converted into soap - loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory agents), which means shea butter bar soap is going to be less drying to the skin.

The soap is ideal for seborrheic dermatitis?particularly on the face?and dandruff. The soap is an excellent cleanser for any type of skin or condition. Our soap is safe for daily use by adults and children. We've kept the ingredients as natural as possible.

DIRECTIONS

For best results use daily or as directed by your doctor. Work up a later using warm water and gently massage into affected areas. Leave in contact with skin for at least 30 seconds. Rinse well. Use on the affected skin in place of your regular soap. In case of accidental ingestion, contact a physician or poison control center immediately. Because some customers experience a drying of their skin when using this soap, start with one application and then gradually work-up to daily application. You may increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. You may follow cleansing with the natural moisturizer of your choosing.

If contact occurs, rinse eyes thoroughly with water. Stop use and ask a doctor if condition worsens or does not improve after regular use as directed. Keep out of reach of children.
